We Have a Three Step Data Conversion Process

Step 1 - Understand your data and your goals.
We will discuss strategies for repairing data, and help you choose from different data conversion options. Just like when you move homes, this is a great time to evaluate what to bring.

Some critical questions to answer:

• What does your project structure look like?
• How many projects are still relevant to bring across?
• Are there client, vendor, contact lists that should be cleaned up first?

Step 2 - Pilot Data Conversion.
After planning, we like to convert your data in a pilot run. This is a fully functional test environment which allows you to test drive the software before your "go live" date.

In this test environment, you can do three critical things:

• Validate the data conversion. Check the balances, totals and breakdowns for completeness and accuracy. Often during this step, we identify challenges with your data from prior systems that we can correct in the final.
• Learn how to process in our Ajera software. This is a great chance to pick a handful of projects to run parallel. Input the timesheets, vendor invoices, generate the invoices, and run payroll. This will help you further validate that we've brought the data across in the best format possible.
• Validate the reports. Ask your project managers to review the reports and make sure we're setting the system up to have usable data from day one. Additionally, run the financials and sub-ledgers to make sure that you're happy.

Step 3 - Final Data Conversion.
We convert your data again, plus update information from your pilot that you've set up. Once we convert, you're live on the Ajera software platform and can roll out your new software to your trained staff.
