Alan Mills

During his 25 years in the AE industry, Alan has consulted with a variety of firms around the country in their quest for better financial and project management. He is responsible for the design and development of a number of architecture and engineering software applications. He has consulted with firms on the implementation of their business management applications, assisting them with development of system standards and processes. At Axium, he is in charge of the operations, product development and client services departments.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys cross country skiing, wakeboarding, weight training and golfing. |

Cathy Mills

Cathy Mills started at Axium in 1997 as Vice President of Marketing Communications and part-owner of Axium. In January 2004, she became the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. During her 20 years in the architectural and engineering industry she has consulted with a variety of AE firms on the implementation of their marketing/business development applications, assisting them with development of system standards and processes.
Prior to her experience in the AE industry, Cathy was a sales professional for Digital Equipment Corporation. She is greatly involved in the local community, is a member of Rotary and is on the board of directors of AUA (Axium User's Association).
On the weekends you'll find Cathy cross country skiing, wakeboarding, weight training and golfing.

Ilene Ingram
Vice President of Operations |

With more than 20 years in the AE industry, Ilene has worked as a controller at in an AE firm and consulted with a variety of AE firms in implementing financial and project management systems, assisting them with development of system standards and processes. She was the AE division manager for Timberline Software. Prior to her current position, Ilene managed Support and the Research & Development departments. As VP of Operations, she is in charge of finance, information systems and human resources for Axium.
When not at work, Ilene dabbles in dancing, billiards and glass art.

Dan Laun
Director of Sales and Services |

As the director of Sales and Services, Dan manages all of the sales and post-sale services required to bring an AE firm up to speed on Ajera and make them successful. Dan joined Axium in 2003 as Product Manager for the research and release of the PORTFOLIO additions.
Dan has excelled at technology-based sales for most of his career, starting as an auditor for Arthur Andersen where he was tasked with implementing Microsoft Project for a large audit. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the challenges of project management and cost over-runs.
Dan was born in Tokyo, Japan, and his first words were Japanese. Today he spends his non-work energy and focus on his three young children and wife. He also loves running and watching the NBA.
Dan received his Masters from George Fox University while working at Axium.

Jon Male
Director of Research and Development |

As Director of R&D, Jon oversees the lifecycle of software creation, from product research to design, development, testing, and online training.
Prior to managing the R&D group, Jon oversaw development of a variety of Ajera features, including Inquiry and the Project Command Center. Hired as an engineer 11 years ago, he cut his teeth coding Axium's legacy product, Protrax, and was instrumental in the early development of Ajera.
In a previous life, Jon cofounded PixelGraphics, a publisher of software for elementary education. By his admission, Jon has been involved in software development for an "embarrassingly long time."
When not making software, Jon enjoys playing basketball, distance walking, exploring Portland, and wandering Europe by rail.

Tony Williams
Support Manager |

As the Manager of Support, Tony is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction at every level. His team handles customer feedback via all channels and oversees the total client experience. In his words, his goal has always been to "make clients happy" since the day he joined the company in 2007.
Prior to working at Axium, Tony was in the military, where he was stationed in Ansbach, West Germany, when the Wall came down. After Tony left the military in 1991, he returned to Oregon to work on his B.A. in business and finance from Portland State University. He left PSU with three things: his degree, a sizable student loan debt and an equally overwhelming car debt for his '72 MG Midget.
Tony is a native Oregonian and grew up in the wine country "back when it was referred to as The Sticks."

Julie Ginn

Julie has more than 15 years experience in creating immersive and integrated on- and off-line marketing campaigns for companies of all sizes. Since joining Axium in 2009, she can be found buzzing around the marketing department working on brand building, user experience design and demand generation plans.
Before joining Axium, Julie implemented communications strategies for world-class companies, including Microsoft, Pacific Life and SAP. Having worked in several in-house marketing teams, Julie's mantra is "find a core distinction, get everyone on board and then propel the message out to the world."
Julie's a recent Los Angeles transplant and has begrudgingly switched her sandals for Ugg boots to accommodate Portland's climate. When not at work, you'll find her puttering around her garden with her beautiful little daughter and cantankerous old cat.
Julie received her BA in journalism from Humboldt State University.
